To Lift Your spirits

In the wake of terrorist killings in Paris and other parts of the world recently, you might be feeling not so optimistic about our future here on earth.  If so, it might lift your spirits to remember that, while this physical world is real, it is a real illusion.  Ideas and thoughts are also real.  There is a deeper underlying spiritual reality on which this material one is based. While we exist in this material one, our major presence is in the spiritual realm, where we exist outside of time, space and other limitations.

When we die, we gradually come to realize the illusory nature of our earth experience, which we willingly enter in order to know firsthand the emotions that can only come from going through it.  When we go back in, we agree to temporarily forget the larger spiritual reality, so that we can play the Time-Space Illusion Game that we are all playing.

The thing to remember is, no matter how badly we do as a human race, even if we destroy this physical planet in time, we go on existing in the spirit realm, and we will join in co-creating many different types of realities, as we might choose.

In some of those realities we will understand that, beyond the illusions in which we decide to participate, there are no beginnings and endings, and that our total existence consists of co-creating anything and everything we want under all types of circumstances and “root assumptions” about the “rules of the game” in which we’re participating.

We are always creating and experiencing as we choose, and there is never a “time” when we are outside of “God,” which might best be defined, as Seth stated, to be “the simultaneous, infinite explosion of all that is.” So no matter how bad things might appear to your senses right now, be assured that right now, the larger spirit-form you is existing in one big, eternal joyride!

No Hope for the Lazy

When explaining some of the details of our existence between lives, the entity Seth channeled by Jane Roberts humorously noted that he could offer no hope for the lazy.  Actually that was an introduction to a highly positive description that followed.

He was referring to those who think they will just sit back and adore God forever.  Instead, he explained, once you get your bearings and get past the illusory stage of the Belief System Territories, there are a lot of things to do and a lot of choices to make.

Are you going to incarnate again? (Most of us will.)  If so, when and where, and to which parents do you want to be born, in what culture?

Do you want to attend classes in music, science, personal expression of emotions or some other subject in preparation for your next incarnation?  (Although you are no longer bound by time as you are when in the physical, and you are aware that all things exist at once, if you want to go back into the time-space illusion of earth life, you have to play by those root assumptions and choose your time period, hence the word “next.”)

You can also have a lot of fun of your choosing, interacting with other spirits who are between lives, or with those “currently” alive to some extent, if it suits your positive purposes.  If you choose to take a break from earth lives and make your progress in some other reality for a while, that’s another option.  Some of us love earth life and are really good at it, while others don’t do too well in it and would prefer another environment for continued development.

Bob Monroe’s travels out of the body with his consciousness give us some idea of the awesome number of probabilities we can experience, via his personal experiences and the information relayed to him by the entities guiding him along in his travels.  It is interesting that, while he was fully grounded in running an organization here on earth and had the respect of many scientists, he remained open enough to new ideas and experiences, and knew enough to ask the right questions while out of body, so that we could all benefit from what he learned.

Physical Senses are a Pair of Glasses

Our physical senses actually actually form physical reality. They are not limited to just perceiving it. Our “inner senses” can perceive many more realities, but the physical senses are like a pair of glasses put over the inner senses, enabling us to focus just on this physical world around us, so that we can play the “Human Time-Space illusion” (HTSI) game.

If we could “turn off” our physical senses temporarily, and start perceiving the many other realities we’re part of and helping to create, we’d have a better understanding of our complete selves, and come to know that we are a spiritual soul, alive and aware and creating in many realities, and very powerful indeed.

As a soul, and not just as a “focus personality” so tightly focused on HTSI that we can see nothing else, we’d begin to understand that our “real” environment is composed of our thoughts and emotions. We’d understand that we have a responsibility to create our own world as best we can by controlling and directing our thoughts and emotions.

From that perspective, it is easy to understand that we are “works in progress,” learning to be responsible co-creators of our reality. When we’ve become proficient enough in doing that at some point in our incarnational existences here, we’re ready to go on to “bigger worlds” where we create with joy and abandon. Of course, that more proficient version of us already exists, since there is no time once you get out of our game.

Which is a very positive thing to think about. No need to worry. No matter how poorly we’re performing in a given life, we’re already there. We don’t need to be “saved,” because we’re already, in a larger focus, as saved and as powerful and creative as we want to be. So ease up, relax a bit, and know that all you need to do is “do the best you can.” That’s good enough.

Great News! By 2075 …

In re-reading Seth Speaks for perhaps the 20th time, I was reminded of the entity’ Seth’s prediction that the “Second Coming” would be happening by 2075.  Seth did not make predictions as a rule, because the existence of probabilities makes them meaningless.  There are so many probable variations of events that one or another version might be experienced by a particular individual.

In this case, however, he noted that the general lines of probability were firmly enough set already that he could state with a good degree of certainty that those of us alive in 2075 would be experiencing what it’s like to exist as a human with an entirely new set of understandings about who we are and what we are capable of, thanks to the return of one aspect of the Christ personality.

A bit of background.  According to Seth, the Christ entity was too powerful to be contained in one focus personality.  So it energized three separate personalities — John the Baptist, the historical figure known as Christ, and Saul who became Paul.  It was Paul who needs to come back, because when he set up the structure of the Church, inevitably humans steered it far away from its intended purpose and message.  So he has to come back to correct it.

In practical terms, what that means is people will no longer experience their consciousness as imprisoned within a physical body.  They will understand that it extends out into “space,” and into “time,” and they can travel with their consciousness to different places and times.

Some corollaries to that are, they will have a much greater understanding of their connection with other humans, animals, and with nature and the earth.  They will begin to understand that they are an integral part of a Big Self that includes many humans playing many roles in various realities, and so the interactions among humans will change dramatically for the better.  Many of us will understand that the spirit creates matter, and that we can take a much greater hand in controlling what we experience by taking charge of our thoughts and beliefs and what we choose to focus our consciousness on.

Just one example — right now we think objects are solid things outside of us.  By then we will know that if we organize the perceptive abilities of our consciousness in a different way, we will directly experience that the objects are only solid if we restrict ourselves to our present mode of perceiving.  We will know that they are just external symbols of our internal beliefs, thoughts, emotions and expectations — and that we can change them as we wish.

It won’t be heaven on earth, but it will sure be a lot better than what we have now.  And the exciting part is, this is only about 60 years away!!!  That means young kids today will be able to experience this reality, and those of us who will “die” in the next 20 years might well be reincarnated by that time as young people.

So we’ve got some exciting times ahead of us, and we can get a head start on this wonderful era by beginning to understand some of these things now, at least in principle, so that we prepare the way for the “Second Coming.”  Incidentally, Seth stated it’s really the 3rd coming in one sense, because the Christ entity has been coming into the earth reality many, many times for thousands of years in different guises, but only in two of them was he recognized — in Atlantis and at the time of our Christ.

Each time the purpose is to help guide us along in our growth and progress and understanding, using whatever level of teaching we can handle at that “time.”  At the time of our Christ, he had to speak in terms of a Father and Son because the people living then could not have understood anything more complex.  Now we can, and by 2075 we’ll be ready for much better things!

Let’s Put an End to End-of-Life Thinking

There is no such thing as a simple end-of-life ending to what we all know as “life.”  We like to think of “heaven,” perhaps,  a place where we will be forever “happy.”   But we never stop to think what we really mean by “heaven.” What are the specifics?  What are we doing all day?  Or all eternity?  Do we just sit around adoring some God?  Are we enjoying “endless vacation in an island paradise?”  

What do you think you will be doing in “heaven?”  Will you be exploring exciting new ideas?  Going on exciting voyages?  Just what are the specifics as you see them?

The sources I relied on for my book, You’re Bigger than Death … and life too, pretty much agree that after your consciousness leaves your physical body, it expands and becomes aware of greater realities.  You then have the freedom to understand your own reality — the one you just stopped focusing on so exclusively and the larger one you are aware of right after death — much more fully.  You also have the opportunity to develop your personal abilities much further, either in classes with other like-minded spirits, or in one-on-one sessions with guides who are there to help you.

As a spirit freed from the limitations of the physical form, you are also free to to feel more, to feel more deeply the nature of your own existence as a part of “All That Is” (or God if you prefer), to feel the emotions and exhilaration of your unbounded being, which is far more expansive than you ever imagined it to be while you were “living” in the Human Time-Space Illusion.  

You become aware of the complexity of your own Self, and its many connections and relationships with other aspects of existence.  You become more aware of its power, and you use that power to experience being in ways far more intense and joyful than you could have imagined while you were “here.”

Yes, there’s a lot to learn and feel and do and experience as you the spirit release your consciousness from the limits imposed by its intimate connectIon with the physical body.  So it’s time you started to give some thought to what specifically you want to be doing after this life, between this life and the next, and what you want to be experiencing and creating in the “next” life (which already exists with all it probabilities, but which we think of as coming “after” this life).

It’s also high time that mankind in general get past the simple, limited notions of its existing religions, and start to think and feel more intelligently about the existence beyond time and space of the larger, more powerful spirits that we are, and how we will use our abilities to create, heal and teach, to help All That Is to know itself in infinitely rewarding ways.

So let’s end current “end-of-life” thinking and start “beginning of bigger awareness” thinking, so we can better shape what we’ll experience when we leave these physical bodies.  Trying to think more specifically is a good way to start.  Do you want to be guiding other souls who are still mired totally in the physical?  Would you rather focus on creating beautiful art?  Beautiful landscapes?  Beautiful music?  Attend classes to improve your knowledge of science, so you can help other humans more when you “return?”  

Or would you prefer to continually project loving feelings, encouragement and positive reinforcement to any and all who need it?  Might you like to join in creating new worlds entirely — based solely on intensity of feelings, sparks of energy, or types of sounds?  Time to get started now on thinking about all this.  After “death” is a great opportunity time to do whatever you want!

Imagine if Al Qaeda knew!

Imagine if Al Qaeda knew all of this!  Imagine if they knew that they are really spirits, and that they are right now energizing many “focus personalities.” many of them women, many Christian or Jewish, and that when they die they become more aware of their total Big Self, which includes “people” of many races and social positions, possibly from the lowest to the highest.

Imagine if they knew that the entire physical universe is a “camouflage reality,”  an illusion that we spirits use as a stage setting on which to play out the dramas of the physical lives we choose to live.  Imagine if they understood that all of us are truly actors, playing a role in any given lifetime as a man, a woman, a child, a wealthy industrialist perhaps, or a poor beggar on the street, a wise old man or a young idiot.  Imagine if they knew we take on a lot of different roles of our own choosing to experience the emotions and learn the power to create that can only be learned here in the “Human Time-Space Illusion.”

It would be a different world, right?  They wouldn’t feel the need to kill other people who don’t believe as they do.  They wouldn’t feel the need to subjugate women.  They wouldn’t need to wage “jihad” over any perceived slight to their prophet Muhammad.

What are the chances they will learn these things in this lifetime?  Very small.  There is a book called Messages From Michael, that explains how baby souls generally behave while they are energizing bodies on this earth.  They think they have to attack and kill those who do not believe as they do.  So we will likely have to wait until they become more mature souls, who can live at peace with many different belief systems, knowing that after a number of deaths and rebirths we all come to understand our true nature as spirits, who are eternal and powerful beings, all of us.

Hopefully, by the time they become old souls who are more tolerant, most of us will have moved on past the reincarnational existences we are in right now, to probabilities or some some other system of reality where what we experience is generally a lot more positive than what we have here.

The Big After-Death Party

According to the entity Seth, in Jane Roberts’ Seth Speaks, after-death environments in general are not somber at all.  He says they are generally far more intense and joyful than the reality we know now. He doesn’t go so far as to suggest “happy deathday parties” instead of funerals, but he does want to draw attention to our misconceptions.

In my book, You’re Bigger Than Death … and life too, I include input from a lot of highly respectable people of good character, who died and wanted to let us know what it’s like after death, so we can be better prepared.  There is also input from reputable out-of-body travelers, Bob Monroe especially, that supports Seth’s statement.

They agree that death is not the same experience for everyone.  A lot of what you experience has to do with your beliefs and expectations.  In the early stages, some don’t even realize they are “dead.”  When they do, some will then try to continue focusing on earth events and influencing them, to no avail.  After that comes the “Belief System Territories,” as Bob Monroe termed them, where the spirits realize they can create any kind of environment they choose, and they think they are in “heaven.”  Here you might encounter 95,000 square foot mansions, beautiful estates, lovely wooded areas with streams, cars 60 feet long, etc., as each entity creates what it considers the most enjoyable environment.

Sometimes the entities (us) get entranced with this plane of reality, and guides need to nudge them out of their tight focus on it, and introduce them to the next stage, which for many is one of learning and growing in capabilities they wish to focus on.  This might involve “courses” in music, theater, healing and medicine, various areas of science and agriculture, and so on.

After this, many will choose their “next”  incarnation, since time isn’t quite what we think it is, and they will start to prepare for it, often working with other entities in their soul group and planning out in advance certain events that will “cause” them to meet and fill certain functions and roles.  All of this is done freely, with the intent of attaining as much “soul growth” as possible in the coming lifetime.

Over the course of the incarnations, souls will play a variety of roles in our HumanTime-Space Illusion, in various guises, at times rich, at times poor, at times wise, at times dull, at times a woman and at times a man, at times heterosexual, gay or lesbian or bisexual, at times honorable and brave, and perhaps not so much at other times.  It all makes for an interesting and varied growth environment, where we experience many emotions firsthand, in a way we couldn’t in the other realities we as spirits take part in.

Now some souls will choose not to continue their growth by reincarnating, but instead to focus on other realities, often not physical at all.  None of the people who have given us input about after-death realities can give us much description about the really advanced entities who have finished their incarnations, simply because they are unable to experience those planes.

The entity Seth is “finished” with them, if you still think in terms of time instead of focus, and Seth and others like him function as teachers, slipping in and out of various space-time frames, helping the current inhabitants to get some understanding of the deeper realities that underlie and support the one they know.  Others in his sphere might choose to be mainly healers, or creators, instead of teachers.

You are an accomplished actor.

Shakespeare’s line about “all the world’s a stage” and we are the actors, is more to the point than most of us suspect.  Whoever and whatever you are now, this is just one of many roles that “you” are playing.  “You” are in fact a Big Self, a spirit that is energizing many personalities, focused in different time frames in different types and sexes of physical bodies, in varying races, doing different things to make a living, in varying social and socioeconomic circumstances, sometimes rich, sometimes poor, sometimes quite smart and sometimes not so.

“You” are an eternal spirit who is choosing to experience earth life in many simultaneous incarnations.  You did so for your own reasons.  Most likely one of them was to experience the rich emotions you can experience here in the Human Time-Space Illusion, as Bob Monroe termed it.  Because each personality is focused in a different “camouflage reality” such as ours, the entity Seth, channeled by Jane Roberts, terms us “focus personalities,” and I think that’s an apt description of what we are.

The really positive part about having so many focus personalities as part of yourself is that you can tune into them at any time to take advantage of the skills, strengths and experience they have gained.  So if you want to start playing the piano, for example, and there is another focus personality that’s part of you that already has developed that talent, it will be easier for you to play than it might be for someone who has no piano players among his or her counterparts (or probable selves…a blog for another day).

You are here for me to love you

“You are here for me to love you” sounds nice, doesn’t it?  But what does it mean?  All of us know people we don’t care for.  And we are all aware of dictators and tyrants who kill and torture people.  Are we supposed to love them?  We certainly don’t love the torture and killing.

Actually, it only makes sense if you understand that the world we know is an illusion, the “Human Time-Space Illusion” (HTSI) as Bob Monroe, the famous out-of-body explorer termed it — a kind of “camouflage universe” supported by a deeper underlying “spirit” reality that makes this one possible.

And I am certainly not here to love those tyrants at the level of their “focus personality.”  You see, whether they know it or not, these tyrants are an integral and essential part of a Big Self, a spirit that has many personalities going on at the same “time,” in different centuries, with different sexes, races, cultures, social positions, levels of intelligence and emotional capabilities.

No, it only makes sense for all of us to be here for the purpose of loving one another if we think in terms of the Big Self, the eternal spirit that each of us is.

It would help you to understand this more easily if you read my book,  “You’re Bigger Than Death … and life too.  But you don’t have to read it.  It is a summary of what respectable people who died over the past century or so have come back to tell us what it is like after death and before birth … in between lives, which all happen to be going on at the same time.  Of course, time doesn’t mean the same thing to someone who has “died” as it does to us.  They come to realize that they can slip in and out of different time frames.

And they understand that there is no “death” as we understand the term.  Rather, death is just an expansion of consciousness, where they become aware of greater realities underlying HTSI.  They also know that they have chosen to enter into HTSI, in order to experience its emotions and other conditions that will be found only here.  Many spirits choose never to try out the earth experience, and as a result they never have “earthiness” in the nature of their spirit.  Kind of like Dr. Spock, who does not know what emotion is.

At any rate, it’s been 13 years since I completed my book, and a lot has happened since then.  Also, the book has too much in it for many people.  In the years since, I’ve had hundreds of thoughts come to me about how people would feel better about life, themselves, and their future if they understood some of these things.  So instead of writing another long book, I decided to just put them down on a day-to-day basis in this blog, as they occur to me.

As for the title, one of the big purposes we’re here for is to learn to love another, and to learn that we all emanate energy every day to all that we experience, and it can be loving, supportive energy … or something else.  We’re also here to learn how to use our power to create in this illusory universe, before we go on to bigger and better things.

Regardless, though, it should be comforting to anyone that we’re already there — we’re already eternal, powerful spirits, as developed and “perfect” as we’ll ever be — we just don’t know it because a part of us is so focused in on participating in this HTSI universe, that we can’t perceive the larger picture.

And it’s exciting to think that as we travel through our earth incarnations, and as we as spirits go on to other types of realities after our earthly incarnational experiences, our awareness  of this much better, much more enjoyable, larger reality continues to increase.

You don’t have to be real smart to appreciate and understand all these things.  It’s really very simple.  And if I achieve my goal in writing this blog, you will feel a lot better about yourself, your life and your destiny as I share some simple thoughts with you as they occur to me.  So we’ll see what happens.
